Open Box Appliance 30-Day Simple Returns

In-store Policy:

In line with our commitment to customer satisfaction, we will replace or exchange any non-functioning or damaged item (damage that occurred during shipping) within 30 days. After 30 days the warranty will be enforced. 

What will cause a refusal for return:

  1. Item past 30 days of ownership
  2. Items transported to a different address
  3. New damage caused by the purchaser (resulting in items issues)
  4. Tampering with electrical, disassembling items, any form of personal work on the unit

 

Shipping Policy:

In line with our commitment to customer satisfaction, we will replace or exchange any non-functioning or damaged item (damage that occurred during shipping). If the item was damaged during shipping, we ask that you take photos highlighting the damage, inform the driver why you are refusing delivery, and contact us immediately via phone call or emailing service@obappliances.com). All of our items come packed up and secure, we take photos of the item prior to shipping and send them to you. If damage occurs during transit, it will be easy to notice based on the pre-shipping photos we send to you. We will file an insurance claim with the freight carrier and refund all of your money once the insurance claim is approved. 


If you must return your item for any reason, you may do so within 30 days of your purchase. Due to the weight of these items, customers are required to pay roundtrip shipping costs plus a 15% restocking fee. Valid returns must be new, unused and unassembled items in their original packaging. Returns will be inspected and a refund minus shipping costs and restocking fee will be issued to you within 5 business days.


We are unable to accept returns on items that were damaged during transit and the customer did not reject the shipment. It is vital that the customer inspect the items before they accept delivery from the freight company so that we are able to process an insurance claim and recoup the total value of the units. Refusals: If you refuse delivery of your order, you will be credited when the product has been received back in for the full amount less the shipping cost to and from the shipping address.

 

General Return Policies at a Glance
  1. ​​​To avoid having to return items, please read all item specifications before purchase, and call us with any questions prior to placing your order. Returns only accepted within 30 days of delivery
  2. Damaged items should not be accepted upon delivery.
  3. After signing for and accepting your item, you are responsible for all damage claims.
  4. You must contact us within 24 hours of receiving your item if your product is damaged or does not work.
  5. Call the manufacturer if the product is defective after the first use.​​​
  6. In the event of a return, you must contact customer service to start a return claim. We will not accept any returns without a return claim.
  7. All returns are subject to a 15% (percent) restocking fee.
  8. ​​​Shipping and handling charges to and from our warehouse are not refundable for returned items.​
  9. Returned products will not be accepted unless they are in brand-new condition with all packaging, product literature and blank warranty cards enclosed in the exact condition as received.
  10. Items that have been moved from their original delivery location cannot be returned.​
  11. You must return the item using the same shipping methods as it was originally shipped.​​​
  12. ​We are not responsible for any missing, incorrect or damaged products reported more than 15 days after delivery.​​​​​​​
